Our dancewear journey began in 1978, when two sisters—Shirley Trinkler and Mary Cook, formerly known as Shirley and Mary Spell—turned their shared love of dance into a family business. What started as a dream rooted in passion, hard work, and community quickly became a trusted neighborhood dancewear store.

Over the years, that dream was lovingly passed down to their niece, Suzanne Spell, who continues to lead the business with pride and purpose. Suzanne is deeply committed to preserving the family values the store was built on—working together, supporting one another, and nurturing a strong local dance community.
